Product Introduction

The OPREX-ATR accessory utilizes the principle of attenuated total reflection to perform rapid, non-destructive infrared spectroscopic analysis of liquids, powders, polymers, and other samples with minimal or no sample preparation. Infrared light is totally internally reflected at the ATR crystal–sample interface, and the evanescent field penetrates into the sample surface layer. The attenuated reflected light is detected to yield high-quality surface-sensitive IR spectra.
